What makes Vlisco fabric unique?
Vlisco fabrics are crafted using a unique wax-printing technique derived from Indonesian Batik. Each piece undergoes a complex production process involving an average of 27 steps, ensuring vibrant colors and patterns that are visible on both sides of the cloth.
How should I care for my wax print garments?
To preserve the vibrancy of the colors, we recommend hand washing in cold water with a mild detergent. Avoid bleach and direct sunlight when drying. If ironing is necessary, iron on the reverse side of the fabric.
Do you offer international shipping?
Yes, we ship our premium fabrics and fashion items globally. Shipping costs and delivery times vary depending on your location and will be calculated during the checkout process.
What is your return policy?
We accept returns within 14 days of delivery, provided the fabric has not been cut, washed, or altered in any way. All original labels and packaging must remain intact.
How can I verify the authenticity of my Vlisco fabric?
Genuine Vlisco fabrics feature a specific selvedge edge containing the Vlisco logo and product code. Additionally, a UV-sensitive seal is often present on the fabric to guarantee it is an original Dutch Wax print.
Are your fabrics sold by the yard or by the piece?
Our fabrics are typically sold in standard 'pieces' of 6 yards (approximately 5.5 meters), which is the traditional length required for most classic African fashion styles.
